This means that hearing loss occurs due to damage to the inner ear or auditory nerve. This damage can happen as a natural part of the aging process. However, it may also be due to other factors that you are more likely to be exposed to as you get older, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Taking ototoxic (damaging to the ears) medications<\/li><li>Having health conditions or diabetes that can impact blood flow to the inner ear<\/li><li>Prolonged or regular exposure to loud noise.
